Donating

help with a donation

Wish supporters give to the organisation in a number of ways. You can make a one-off donation to Wish online here.

Alternatively, you can send a cheque made payable to ‘Wish’ to Wish, Freepost RTTC-GBXG-CYYL, 15 Old Ford Road, London, E2 9PJ. If you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donation by filling out a Gift Aid Declaration – it doesn’t cost you anything, but means that Wish can claim an extra 28p for every £1 you donate.

For more information about Gift Aid and to find out whether your donation qualifies for Gift Aid tax relief, please click here.

If you would like Wish to be able to claim Gift Aid tax relief on your donation, please fill out a Gift Aid Declaration and include it with your cheque.

You can also raise money for Wish as you shop online via Easyfundraising or Give as You Live. Choose from over 500 of the UK’s best-known retailers, and when you shop using the links on the Easyfundrasing or Give as You Live site up to 15% from every purchase you make will be donated to Wish. It doesn’t cost a penny extra to shop and raise funds for us this way, and as many retailers now give extra discounts when you buy online, you can even save money!

Of course, giving cash donations is extremely valuable in supporting the organisation, but other types of giving can also support Wish’s work:

  • Mobile phones (with chargers) in good working order for women who have moved into the community from hospital or prison, to enable them to keep in touch with a Wish worker
  • Greetings cards – either blank inside or birthday/Christmas cards
  • Good IT equipment
  • Stamps

Please post any items you would like to donate to the Wish office in London.

Volunteering your time is another way that you can help Wish. For more information, see our Volunteering page.
